தந்தை பழைய பொருட்கள் விற்கும் Antique கடைக்குப் போய் கேட்டுப் பார் என்றார்.

அவன் போய் கேட்டு விட்டு, தந்தையிடம் இதற்கு 5000 டாலர்கள் டாலர்கள் தர முடியும் என்கின்றனர் என்றான்.

தந்தை இதனை Museum கொண்டு சென்று விலையை கேட்டுப்பார் என்றார்...

அவன் போய் கேட்டு விட்டு தந்தையிடம், நான் அங்கு போன போது, அவர்கள் அதனை பரிசோதனைக்குட்படுத்த ஒருவரை வரவழைத்து, பரிசோதித்துவிட்டு, என்னிடம் இதற்கான பெறுமதி ஒரு மில்லியன் டாலர்கள் என்கின்றனர் என்றான்...

தந்தை மகனை பார்த்து, மகனே! சரியான இடம் தான், உனது அந்தஸ்தை சரியாக மதிப்பிடும். எனவே, பிழையான இடத்தில் நீ உன்னை நிறுத்திவிட்டு, உன்னை மதிக்கவில்லை என்று நீ கோபப்படுவதில் அர்த்தம் இல்லை என்றார்...

" உன்னுடைய மரியாதையை அறிந்தவனே உன்னை கண்ணியப்படுத்துவான்...."

" உனக்கு தகுதி இல்லாத இடத்தில் நீ இருக்காதே... "

இதனை வாழ்க்கையின் பாடமாக எடுத்துக்கொள்...

நமக்கு மரியாதை இல்லாத இடத்தில் ஒரு நிமிடம் கூட செலவலிக்காதீர்கள்.

 He went and asked his father, saying that since it is old, he can only give 5 dollars.

 Father said go to an antique shop that sells old things and ask.

 He went and asked his father and said that he can pay 5000 dollars for this.

 Father said he will take it to Museum and ask for the price...

 He went and asked his father, when I went there, they sent someone to test it, and after testing it, they told me the price for it was one million dollars...

 The father looked at the son and said, son!  Only the right place will judge your stature.  So, there's no point in getting angry that you've put yourself in the wrong place and you're not respected...

 "He who knows your honor will honor you..."

 "Don't be where you don't deserve to be..."

 Take this as a life lesson...

 Don't spend a single minute where we have no respect.
